Victoria Baker
Victoria came to Houghton in 1992, the same year she married Jim Baker. Before living in Houghton she resided in Petoskey and Marquette, Michigan. She finished her associates’ degree in 1992 and entered banking, beginning her career at Old Kent in Petoskey and then joining D&N Bank when she moved to Houghton. Her husband Jim has been with Michigan Technological University for over 15 years and is currently the Director of Technology and Economic Development. In 2000 Jim and Victoria welcomed a son home and in 2002 a daughter joined the family. During these past years Victoria has been busy raising her children volunteering at the Houghton Elementary School and teaching Rotation Sunday School at Holy Trinity Church in Chassell. She loves the area and the vast array of activities it has to offer and is now living in Chassell with her family.
Victoria’s past experience gives her the sales knowledge, customer relations skills and ability to keep a transaction both personal and confidential while understanding the need to walk each client though the processes of finding and purchasing a home. Her dedication to her previous professional positions and her family will carry over to each client to find the perfect home to cherish and enjoy.
